tell u secret..e7em..
i've been seeing a feng shui specialist lately..she helped me with improving my life and she added few things to my house (very few simple itmes that u can carry with u when moving to another place..) i think i should write a post about this soon!
my mom's health is improving i can tell, i'm feeling better in general..(better sleeping and all) i do believe in these thing really..

according to her, i'm wood as i remember.

as for ur question, the item i like mostly in my room is my water fountain (she told me to get one)
it's metal, got six layers and the sound of water is so peaceful..it migh resemble my personality somehow...i think i'm a person with many layers, but all of them still go together in harmony....and when i'm plugged in correctly (that's being in good health, having peace of mind...etc) my inner self pours out softly like the water flowing from the fountain...my external looks might be as cold and firm as the metal of this fountain..by my inner side is soft and transparent like the water :p

keef bas el falsafeh? :D

I think mine is a teak dining room table that we got at fire-sale prices when a department store closed. (We got our wedding rings there too.) It is stained a light brown, square edges, square legs, no adornment whatsoever. It normally seats 6 as a rectangle, but can seat nine when you pull it apart and fold out the leaf in the middle (stored underneath on a hinge) to make it a square. I like it because it's sturdy, balanced, functional, unpretentious, everyone is close to each other for conversation, and you cannot lose the leaf that expands the table. Everyone I know who has removable table leaves has lost them somewhere along the way. I believe that form follows function, and a beautiful form results from a refined and well-designed function.

LOL, Mayous waxes wonderfully poetic. And I doubt she is cold in any regard.

mayous: yay! i love knowing that ppl who go to spirituality related healing techniques rather than medicine! i very much believe in healing sessions, feng shui, self programming, and spiritual soul searching. stress, illness, overall attitude towards life changes noticably when ppl go to that direction.

i love the analysis bannout, u indeed r a complex personality and thats amazing i reckon, its more interesting. but i disagree with ur outer appearance being cold and firm, ur very friendly looking, yes reserved and dont reveal much about urself too soon, but yes pure water soul and a heart of gold allah ye7meeky

marv: suits u! u seem practical, assertive, level headed and u enjoy social gatherings and bringing ppl together. at least thats what i've seen from ur blog and pictures and stuff :)

and lol yes mais can be poetic when she wants to :D

nimer: mmm, shuf black in art even is the combination of all colors, so its more than just relating to one color. but not even one piece of furniture at your house/office/parents place that u feel resembles u? or ur attached to it in any way?

hmmmm, this is very interesting and spooky! i was just talking to a collegue about furniture!!

I don't know what item specifically... I like it all because i picked it by myself and this is my first furniture.

but if i had to chose, i would say my bed. because i was used to the white/pink/blue sheets back home, now i have red and dark red sheets with an orange/red/yellow/pink cover.. yes i got if from IKEA if anybody else has it :) I like it coz it is warm and lively.
