In general, I don't think it makes a difference to how obscene people are in everyday life. That's just a matter of upbringing.
I remember explaining to my colleagues at work how to behave professionally including the following:
- Don't say anything in the office that you wouldn't say if a female colleague was present
mmm.. I guess it has nothing to do with it. :???:
I don't think it's related.
I think the world used to be much liberal and more open in the past than it is today. I think 3000 years ago the world would look R rated in our very uptight modern views
And I think Porn (sans-graphy) has been there since the dawn of time, it was probably not accessible to all, but it was there. Along with many other things that we look down upon these days
what specifically do you mean by obscene?
Woman, I feel like you're collection our answers to make a hypothesis about our psychological being.
I think everyone here is viewing this different but I think to an extent, people could have been less obscene. Ok i'll add more when we talk lol bye.

i meant had there not been any porn, dirty magazines, and hookers to 'enrich' the industry, do u think ppl wud have been less horny, slutty with their dress code, and profane with their language? wud ppl not view or view women less as sex objects just coz they r the core of everything pornographic? wud the lack of openness to sexuality and all sexual materials have made ppl more conservative and more respectful?
and please, upbringing isnt everything! im sure Mr hugh-playboy-dynasty-founder had good parents who had principles. fi ishya muktasabeh w fi ishya min il insan nafso, i.e. hawa il nafs.
ok but your question kind of implies that the porn industry is the cause .. whereas i could argue that it is an effect ..
i think you need to look deeper than porn to find the cause ..
hmmm.. I feel men would be more satisfied with their wives in this case. I have noticed lately that one of the main reasons ppl are getting a divorce is bad sex! and this is happening in the arab world! eek! its like dude, you're married to sa3diyeh, not "cherry" on "oooh, aaaah, eeeeh"
not neccessarly
hey sweety... you are tagged!!
Definitely!
no i think the rise of the porn industry was because people became more obscene and immoral, not the other way around.
I think 'women seen as sexual objects' is a societal problem, not due to porn. Although maybe porn is re-enforcing it and allowing it to continue. Because, many of the porn is not just sex, sometimes it's insulting to women.
As for the 'less horny', I really doubt that is related to porn at all.
