الحجاب الحاجز

WARNING: these thoughts might offend some of u...
regretfully, i am not vieled.. and even tho i know its very wrong, i still cant commit.. yet, everyday i come across tens if not hundreds of 'vieled' girls/women, and by 'vieled' i am referring to the 'modern' 7ijabis who wear second-skin-tees-under-a-tight-camisole-barely-covering-their-bums-in-that-tight-jeans or short-skirts-with-knee-high-boots and consider themselves fully covered..and i cant deny the amount of wrath the scene provokes in me.. i am not preaching, since i am not vieled, but there is a minimum level of 7eshmeh (modesty) that is embedded in everyone, and wearing clothes that leave nothing to imagination is just not right, vieled or not.

it just saddens me so much what little respect some have towards their body and its sanctity..

Tell me about it!
I suffer from these self proclaimed mohajjabat .. I don't understand why did they even get it to begin with? Just to boast that they're Better than you religiously!
I always said that I for one stand for allowing the lady to make her own mind. If that's what she wants then it's her call. Instead of forcing her into dressing like that and the results will always be bad

Qwaider, its a must, fard. not something a woman shud make her mind about. but i do agree, لا اكراه في الدين and most ppl who were forced into it do not make the best of it..

There are two issues here, the hijab; which is a fard, and modesty; which is a matter of personal judgment. I agree with your opinion on the first issue; when a woman decides to wear hijab she should do it properly and avoid clothes which defeat its purpose. However, I prefer stylish and fashionable hijab, which is modest and at the same time does not look like a body bag :S

Welcome back sweets
love what you did with the place, a blue color scheme, very stylish ;)

very true damdoom..

what is the value of this extra piece on head unless there is a value from inside.

I always say that hijab is not a point to start ur commitment to islam with, but it must be a result for what we are from inside. Means that , when a girl considers hijab, she must feel she is mo7ajjaba and have the least level of modesty from inside..

it is not the idea of the type of sprayed-on clothes.. very stretch and u can see every single detail in her body! she has an affair with a guy.. w absar sho.. w el 7amdullah ana mo7aggaba!

true hijab is what we ask for, not semi hijab or only a dress code..

check zis :D
